I can't believe how hot it is here. It was 106 degrees yesterday and 109 degrees today. If I didn't have to work I would have definately spend the last two days at the beach. It is HOT, HOT, HOT!!!
Maris-Got the new Janet Evanovich book "Fearless Fourteen". I'll be listening to it on the way down to Carmel this weekend.
Revised-It was 112 degrees!

Love the heat but w/o the humidity. We were in Tucson in May & it was hot, dry and great. And really enjoy Janet's Stephanie Plum series. Haven't read one of her novels in a few years. Some of them are hilarious! Grandma is fantastic. (Wish Janet's website was better though.)
Syvlia-I lived in Tucson for years. Graduated from the University of AZ. I love the desert and the surrounding mountains. I miss it sometimes. As for Janet's website...yes it is pretty cheesy. :-) And Grandma really does make me laugh-hard.
I just heard from my brother-in-law in Saudi Arabia and he says that it is above 120 degrees there. He says everybody is out doing manual labor like it is 70 degrees. Mostly people from India so they probably appreciate the dry climate. :-) I guess we can't complain to loudly.
These high temperatures are hard on the dogs though.
Welcome to the blog Walter. :-)
112????
No thanks!
